KOPKAUMarilyn FrancisMarilyn Francis Kopkau, age 71, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2016, after a brief struggle with a stroke. Marilyn was born on July 24, 1945, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Helen Youngman.Marilyn attended Maumee High School and was a gifted and well known hairstylist. She gained a diploma at the Toledo College Barber School. She was the owner and operator of Marilyn's Front Page, beauty salon. She continued to style hair up to her passing. She cut and styled hair for hundreds of Toledo's top professionals. She is survived by her soulmate of over 30 years, Larry Laberdie; his daughter, Renee Laberdie; and her three daughters, Marena, Savana and Cierra. She also had three brothers, David (Inge), Dennis and Bill Youngman. She was preceded by sisters, Barbara and Shelly. Marilyn is survived by her only child, Terrence (Christina) Spires; and three grandsons, Zack, Nick and Vincente; as well as many nephews and nieces. Memorialise December 5, 11 a.m. at Park Church, 1456 Harvard Blvd., Toledo on December 5, 2016. Marilyn was surrounded by love with her family for days before she passed. She went with God.
