Bohren, Marilyn "Sam" F. Marilyn "Sam" F. Bohren, age 77, of Johnson Creek, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 to join her beloved Valentine of 38 years, John W. Bohren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Hafemeister Funeral Home in Watertown with Rev. David Groth of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Watertown officiating. www.hafemeisterfh.com. Marilyn Frieda Freuck was born on April 13, 1939 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Harvey and Adeline (nee Filter) Freuck. She attended grade school and high school in Milwaukee and proudly graduated with a degree in accounting in 1989. Marilyn was employed at the American National Can Company in Milwaukee for over 30 years, retiring at the age of 50. John and Sam moved to Florida to live as snowbirds in 1989, but returned to Wisconsin in 2007. She enjoyed knitting, solving puzzles, feeding "her birds" and collecting coins and stamps. Marilyn is survived by her father and mother, Sterling and Adeline Koch; daughter, Laura (James) Goschey; three grandchildren, Jamielynn, Ashley and Katherine Goschey; brothers, James (Kathleen) Freuck; Robert Freuck and Jeffrey (Faith) Koch; sister, Cynthia (Dale) Cichon; mother-in-law, Lucille Bohren; brother-in-law, Robert Bohren Jr. as well as other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. "Papa John" Bohren; father, Harvey Freuck and father-in-law, Robert Bohren.
