Marilyn J. Duban1931 - 2013Marilyn J. Duban, 82, of Kenosha, passed away Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, at St. Catherines Hospital.She was born on March 23, 1931 to the late Swerra and Mathilda (Petersen) Ellefson in Kenosha. She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School.On April 30, 1952, she married Eugene Duban in Kenosha.Marilyn worked as a secretary at Simmons for several years and part time at Gateway.Marilyn enjoyed shopping for sales and bargain hunting, knitting, word search puzzles, an avid Packer fan and loved teasing and spending time with her grandchildren.Marilyn is survived by her husband, Eugene; her children, Jill Montgomery of Pleasant Prairie, Cindy (Robert Grulke) Duban of Madison and Scott (Heike) Duban of Salem; her grandchildren, David Duban, Kevin Duban, Marc Grulke, Steven Duban and Christopher Grulke; her sister, Bernice Rugg of Kenosha and her brother, Paul (Lila) Ellefson of Washington Island.She is preceded in death by an infant twin son, Gary; her brother, Dick and her son-in-law, Al Montgomery.A Celebration of Life for Marilyn will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 1 p.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service.
