Marilyn A. BraceLakeside, Ohio: Marilyn A. Brace, 91, of Lakeside, Ohio and formerly of Westlake, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Otterbein North Shore Retirement Community near Lakeside, Oh. She was born on March 3, 1926 in Lakewood, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harold and Evelyn (Roth) Riedel. She married Elwyn Brace in 1951 and he preceded her in death in June, 1983.She worked at RPM for several years, as Executive Secretary for the company founder, Frank Sullivan and later, Tom Sullivan. She enjoyed her work and was proud of the role she had with the company's success. Shortly after the company relocated to Medina, Ohio she struggled with the long commute and reluctantly left the company to be a secretary for the Lakewood school system. She retired in 1987. She was a member of the 1st Church of Christ Scientist in Rocky River, Oh. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling around the world with her husband, family and friends, spending time on the golf course and sewing, cooking, arranging flowers and musicals. Survivors include her nephew, Richard (Barbara) Loth of Graytown, Ohio as well as many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sister, Catherine Loth and her brother, Harold Riedel. Per Marilyn's wishes she will be cremated.
