Despain, Marie Luke Age 72, of Tempe, AZ passed away on February 16, 2017. Marie was born on April 3, 1944 to Bill and Frances Luke. Marie grew up in Tucson, AZ and was a lifelong UofA fan. She earned her degree in elementary education. Marie was happily married to Dale Despain for 51 years and raised their family in Tempe, AZ. The joys of her life were her 5 children, 19 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Marie was a friend to everyone and loved to give hugs, encouragement and chocolate chip cookies to all she met. She is also survived by her 6 siblings. Viewing - Friday February 24, 5-7pm. Funeral - Saturday February 25, 10am; additional viewing before at 9am. All services will be held at Tempe LDS Stake Center, 2707 S College Ave, Tempe, AZ 85282. Funeral services provided by Bueler Mortuary.
