Maribel Quezada, 53, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 in Yuma. She was born on July 7, 1959 in Puerto Peñasco, Mex. Maribel received her degree in Early Childhood Education. She was employed at Chicanos Por La Causa, as a Headstart teacher for 25 years. Maribel enjoyed music, games, movies, and time with family. Maribel is survived by her mother Emma Ramirez; daughter, Maribel Quezada; son, Danny Quezada; sisters, Mayela Daniel and Elsa Ramirez; brothers, Jaime Ramirez and Nephtali Ramirez; and eight nieces and nephews. Wake will be held at Desert Valley Mortuary on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 5pm to midnight, with Rosary at 7pm. Mass will be held at Inmaculado Corázon de Maria in Somerton, AZ on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 9am with Father Tomas Muñoz officiating. Her final resting place will be at Desert Lawn Memorial. Pallbearers will be Jaime Ramirez, Julio Lizárraga, Danny Quezada, Nephtali Ramirez, Eberardo Ramirez, and Luis Hernández.
