Maria Teresa Toro Castillo passed peacefully after her battle with cancer in her home in Tampa, FL in the early hours of Wednesday, October 25th, at the age of 74.

Maria was born on December 1st, 1943 in Villalba, Puerto Rico to Nancy Maria Perez Castillo and Pedro Lugo Castillo. For most of her life, Maria was a housewife, caring for all seven of her children and being an excellent wife to her husband.

Maria Teresa is survived by her sons, Freddy Toro, Noel Toro, Jose Antonio Toro; daughters, Alicia Toro, Myrna E. Morales, Maricela Maldonado, Maria Teresa Hurtado; sisters, Cecilia Wright, and Darlene Marrero. Maria also leaves to honor her memory 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 29, 2017, with a reception to follow.  All are welcome to attend and celebrate Maria’s life.
