Maria Rodriguez, 18, of Miami, Florida, passed Saturday, November 24, 2018. Maria was born to Alberto Rodriguez, and Maylin Garcia, November 02, 2000 in Havana, Cuba, and she graduated from Miami Jackson Senior High School in 2017. Her parents immigrated to the United States when she was 2 years old so they could provide for their daughter, and only child, a better future. Maria was a bright, loving, and compassionate daughter who's life tragically ended too soon. Her dream was to become a Veterinarian since she had a profound love for animals, and she volunteered in different shelters around her home. Her favorite color was pink and she loved to sing and dance. She was the light of her parents eyes and their most beloved treasure. Although she is gone, she will always be remembered by her family who will always love her dearly. Maria was always an angel, but now she has truly became one.

Due to the circumstances of her death her family has decided to hold a private funeral service, but will be holding a Celebration of Life in her honor at her parent's home:
