Weslaco - Maria Louisa Hernandez, 63, passed away to be with the Lord on November 8, 2016. She was born on February 2, 1953 in Weslaco, Texas to Juan and Minerva Cardenas. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Jesus Hernandez and her children; Eric (Doraly) and Alexis (Laura). Louisa is also survived by her granddaughter, Emily Jae Hernandez; 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend her viewing at Funeraria Del Angel Highland Funeral Home from 1-9 p.m. on Thursday, November 10, 2016, with a rosary at 7 p.m.. Funeral Service will commence at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2016 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Weslaco. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
