Maria F. Sandoval, 25, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2013 after injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. She was born on March 1, 1988, in Denver, Colo. to Jeannie Sandoval.She was the girl with a heart of gold. Always ready to help people in need. She loved her kids, family and friends, and always a joy to be around. She is preceded in death by her aunts, Rebecca Baca and Anita. She is survived by her domestic partner, Christopher Lucero of Anton Chico; children, Jayla Chriss Lucero and Aztlan Siete Lucero of Anton Chico; grandmother/guardian, Mary Moore and husband Douglas of Denver, Colo.; mother, Jeannie Sandoval of Denver, Colo.; siblings, Antonio Sandoval, Anita Sandoval, Diana Sandoval, Ruby Sandoval; David Sandoval, Jeannie Sandoval, Frankie Sandoval, Mary Sandoval and Ruthie Sandoval all of Denver; Colo.; in-laws, Chris and Prescilla Lucero of Anton Chico, Crystal Lucero and Napoleon Sanchez; Kevin and Shanika Lucero. Rosary services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church in Anton Chico. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday also at St. Joseph's Church in Anton Chico, with Father Antonio Mondragon as celebrant. Interment will follow at the family plot in Dilia. Serving as casket bearers will be: Raphael Lobato, Antonio Sandoval, Azulema Lobato, Napoleon Sanchez, Jose Lucero Jr., Stoney Jaramillo, Everette Tenorio, and Greg Encinias.
