Brink, Margene Ann (Rudnick),passed away suddenly and peacefully February 26, 2017 at Little Sisters of the Poor in Louisville, KY. Margene was born on March 26, 1929 in Drayton, ND to Paul and Gertrude Rudnick. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Dr. William R Brink, her parents, Paul and Gertrude Rudnick, her sister, Josephine (Swegarden), her brothers, Francis and Daniel, and two infant daughters, Mary Jo and Barbara Jean. She is survived by her eight children; James, Kathryn, Anne (Robert Hollingsworth), Mary (Michael Abernathy), William Richard Jr.( Kelly), Margaret (Rick Kiessling), John, and Ellen. She was blessed with 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Margene was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and friend who not only found time to volunteer for the mentally impaired and disadvantaged young women but was also an accomplished and award winning artist.She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family and friends. A very special thank you to Little Sisters of the Poor for their loving, gracious, and caring efforts. A memorial service will be held at Little Sisters of the Poor on Monday March 6, 2017 at 11 am.
