Shahan, Margaret V. (Stewart) passed away February 28, 2017, at the age of 99. A native Arizonan, Margaret was born on December 31, 1917, at the home in Gilbert, where she resided her entire life. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, James M Shahan, parents, Olin P Stewart and Rita M Stewart (Allen), son Darrel and siblings Glenn Stewart, Helen Clark, Alhoa Mae Hanson and Elaine Stewart. Margaret is survived by her children J. Michael (Sid) and Kelley Shahan of Gilbert, daughter Rita Powers of Prescott Valley and daughter-in-law Judith Shahan (Darrel) of Chandler, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the LDS Church at 1520 S. Catalina St, Gilbert, on March 11 with visitation at 9am and a 10am service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the or the .
