Margaret I LuggJune 15, 1926 - March 4, 2017Margaret (Peggy) Lugg passed away at Harrison Medical Center, Bremerton, WA on March 4, 2017, following a brief illness.  Peggy was born on June 15, 1926 to William and Elizabeth Shannon in Litchfield, Illinois.  On September 9, 1949, she married Robert (Bob) Lugg M.D. who was her lifelong love and partner of 55 years.  In 1955 they moved to Port Huron, Michigan where their daughter Lois Jane was born the following year.  After Bob's retirement in 1985, they spent several years in Germany, moving to Silverdale,WA in 1991. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband Robert and is survived by her daughter Lois Jane; sister Mary Elizabeth Griffing; nieces: Sharon Griffing, Tracy Cassidy and Diane Williams; and cousins: Margaret Hachigian and Dorothy Johnson.  More information can be found on the Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home (Bremerton) site.A memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 22, at the Silverdale United Methodist Church, 9982 Silverdale Way NW, Silverdale, WA  98383.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Silverdale Methodist Church or the Washington State Science and Engineering Fair.
