RACINE - Margaret L. (nee: Reynolds) Framstad, 85, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2011, at Wheaton Franciscan Health Care - All Saints. Margaret was born on March 27, 1926, the daughter of the late Alfred and Gladys (nee: Church) Reynolds. Margaret was united in marriage to Ardell Framstad in 1949. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing in Madison. She was a longtime member of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection and the Racine Retired Nurses Association. Margaret was employed at St. Luke's Hospital in Racine for over 20 years. She loved to travel, enjoyed photography, collecting political cartoons, and scrap booking. Margaret is survived by her children, John Framstad of Albuquerque, N.M., Mark (Jacqueline 'Jake') Framstad of Madison, David (Dawn) Framstad, and Mary (Jeff) Steidl, all of Racine; grandchildren, David, Rachel, Alex, and Julia; and special niece, Marie (Bob) Prescott. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ardell on July 6, 1998; infant son, Phillip; and a sister, Elizabeth Timm. Funeral services for Margaret will be held at Sturino Funeral Home on Monday, October 24, 2011, at 12 noon with Rev. Dr. Melvin Miritz officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at West Lawn Memorial Park in a private ceremony. There will be a time to meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon.
