Shafel, Margaret A. "Maggie"Margaret A. "Maggie" Shafel, 74, Green Bay, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at a local nursing home. She was born on March 29, 1942, in Shawano to Rudolph "Rudy" and Anna (Zeman) Shafel.Maggie was employed as a cook at local nursing homes and later as a greeter at Walmart. She was a member of the Eagles Aerie #401. Maggie enjoyed playing bingo and cards with her friends.She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin (Muria) Shafel; two grandchildren, Jordan and Dylan Shafel; sister-in-law, Sandy Shafel; brother-in-law, Eugene Watermolen; nieces and nephews, Gerry (Lisa) Blohowiak, Vicki (Mike) Flynn, Renee (Gary) Kuschel, Kim (Sue) Blohowiak, Dennis Watermolen, Glen (Pam) Watermolen, Debbie (Marcel) Turriff, Randy (Diane) Watermolen, Mike (Lynda) Ronsman, and Steve (Taku) Ronsman.Maggie was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Shafel; four sisters, Angie Watermolen, Mary Ronsman, Jeanette Blohowiak, Connie Robinson; and a niece, Cheri Buss.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
