Marcie Pope of Detroit, MI passed away September 26,2018 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Jimmie and Pearlie Pope November 17,1960 in Detroit, MI. Marcie attended all Detroit Public Schools, graduating high school from Charles F. Kettering in 1977. Marcie continued her education at Wayne County Community College where she received her associate degree in science.

Marcie never married. She is survived by one child Kwamika Pope, grandson: Jack Knight, three sisters: Jean Wright, Irene Johnson, and Annie Norman. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Marcie was immensely proud of her family and leave nothing but good memories.
