Loonstra, Marcella O.Marcella O. Loonstra, 88, Marshfield, died on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at House of the Dove, Marshfield. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Grace Lutheran Church, Nasonville, where the visitation will be from 9:00 am on Monday until service time. Rev. Mark Sabin will officiate. Burial will take place in the church cemetery and serving as pallbearers will be Kevin Schmitz, Dean Bohman, Braden Bohman, Russell Rasmussen, Jim Good and Ken Seehafer. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family. Marcella was born on August 26, 1928 in Marshfield to William and Olga (Rasmussen) Heinrich and was a 1946 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School. She was united in marriage to John E. Loonstra on June 24, 1948 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Nasonville. He died on December 21, 2006. Marcy was employed at the Marshfield Fair Store and also at Figi's. She had been a Leader for the Golden Glow 4-H group and coordinated the Food and Nutrition booth at the Central Wisconsin State Fair. At Grace church she had been a Sunday School teacher and headed up the Easter breakfast and Soup Suppers. She also was active in the senior group in Chili and enjoyed playing cards, especially sheepshead. She is survived by her children, Karyn (Richard) Buttke of Marshfield, Gary Loonstra and Cindy Loonstra, both of Marshfield, and David (Traci) Loonstra of Osseo. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren Mike Buttke, Jennifer (Grant) Chappelle and Madisyn Loonstra and 4 great grandchildren, Jessyca and Quentin Buttke and Olivia and Miles Chappelle. She is further survived by her sister, Darlene (Harlan) Bartsch of Wauwatosa and in-laws, Marge Loonstra, Carol (Ken) LeMay and Loretta Wilhelm. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Connie Immerfall, a grandson, Scott Immerfall.Memorials may be designated in Marcella's name to Grace Lutheran Church, Nasonville.
