Malcolm Eugene Gregory, affectionately known as “Eddy Bum” by his family, was born on May 11, 1947 in Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies to the late Peter Caprietta and Mary Lodai. On June 2, 2019, the sunset and Mr. Gregory was called home.
He was educated in Trinidad and became a hard-working, self-taught man who quickly worked his way up the ladder. Malcolm was a friendly, loving and outgoing man who never knew a stranger. He dedicated his life to his family, his country and his community. He was a diligent advocate for worker’s rights. He traveled all over the country with his beautiful family as a union representative for telecommunications worker’s rights. In 1998, he began working for SCDOT in Transportation. He taught his children that through hard work and dedication, you can achieve greatness.
Malcolm leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, six children, eleven grandchildren, fourteen brothers and sisters and a host of nieces and nephews who were passionately loved.
