Mae A. Robinson, 83, of Oostburg, went home to her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at her home.Mae was born on July 2, 1933, in Binghamton, NY, daughter of Dorman and Annabelle (Liddle) Bloodgood. She was a 1952 graduate of North High School in Binghamton. On July 11, 1953, she married Gary E. Robinson in Chenango Bridge, NY. Gary passed away on July 30, 2014.Mae was a member of First Reformed Church in Oostburg, where she was active in the choir, prayer circle, mission circle, and in Young at Heart. She also served as an elder and a vocalist. Mae was an area representative of the Sheboygan Women's Connection, a Stonecroft Ministries speaker, a Meals on Wheels volunteer, and a Wycliffe volunteer for eleven years. Mae enjoyed singing, sewing, artwork, decorating, gardening and flowers, computers, and traveling.Mae is survived by her two daughters, Mary Elizabeth (Robert) Krome of Oostburg and Amy (Jeffrey) Vincent of Mukwonago; her two sons, David (Jessica) Robinson of Menomonee Falls and William (Wendy) Robinson of Ripon; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one brother, James (Karen) Bloodgood of Fort Lauderdale.Mae was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Gary; her parents; her infant son, Daniel; her infant sister, Marsha Bloodgood; and one brother, Richard (Katherine) Bloodgood.Funeral services to celebrate Mae's life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at the First Reformed Church in Oostburg with Rev. Brian Taylor officiating. Burial will take place at Oostburg Cemetery in the Town of Holland.Relatives and friends may gather at the church on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 1pm until the time of service at 2pm.
