Madinah JohnsonMANSFIELD: Madinah "Dia" JOHNSON, 39, passed this life on Saturday, January 21, 2017 in her home after a sudden illness. Ms. Johnson was born on Friday, September 30, 1977 in Mansfield and was a life resident. "Dia" as she was affectionately known was a member of the Mansfield Senior High School graduating class of 1996, went on to become a State Tested Nurses Aide, and finally was presently taking college courses to obtain a degree in Health Administration. For the past year Dia was employed by the former employee of Wesley Glen Nursing Facility in Columbus. She was a member of the Latter Rain Church Of God In Christ. Dia is survived by her 3 children: Deondre Wilson, Columbus, Calvin Wilson, Jr. and Kierra Wilson, Mansfield; mother: Ruth Williams; father: Albert Johnson, Sr., Canton; 4 siblings: Albert Johnson, Jr., April Williams, Kizzy Williams, and Angela (Rockman) Ali, Mansfield; and best friends: Demetrius Coleman, and April Burton, Mansfield. Dia was preceded in death by her step-father David Williams. Funeral services will be held Friday, at 11:00 AM in the Latter Rain COGIC by her pastor, Elder Louis Blevins. Friends may call at the church beginning at 10 a.m. till time of service.
