Mable was born to Alvin and Irene Johnson on November 4, 1934. She confessed to Christ at an early age.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Irene and Alvin Johnson; and two sisters, Ruth Ann Mitchell and Carol Jackson.

Mable's last union was with Albert Mitchell.

She leaves to cherish her memory two children, Gwendolyn Howard of Chicago, Illinois, and Shirley Smith of Racine, Wisconsin; 3 grandchildren Nathaniel Howard, Monica Jones and George Foster; 6 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
