Mike Ybarra LUBBOCK-Mike Ybarra, 58, of Lubbock, TX passed away on Saturday, Dec.10, 2016. Mr. Ybarra was born on Oct. 31, 1958 in Lubbock, TX to Juan and Soila (Quintero) Ybarra. He married Toni (Gonzalez) on February 9, 1990 in Lubbock, TX. Mr. Ybarra was a huge Washington Redskins fan, loved listening to Tejano music, and hanging out with his sons. He was a very kind hearted man. Most of all he was a family man, and loved his wife, kids, brother, and his grandkids. Mike is preceded in death by his father; Juan Ybarra. Those left to cherish his memory are his mother; Soila, wife; Toni, daughter; Michelle Castro, sons, AJ Ybarra, Christian Ybarra, and Mike Rodriguez. Mr. Ybarra was also blessed with 10 grandchildren. He also leaves behind one brother; Tom Ybarra, and six sisters; Janie Rodriguez, Adelia Loya, Terry Ybarra, Lupe Castro, Lucy Paredez, and Secilia Walsh. Rosary will be recited at 7pm on Thursday, Dec.15, 2016 in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. John Neumann's Catholic Church.
