WILKMICHAEL T., age 54, of Charlestown PA, was called to eternal life on December 11, 2016, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous fight with cancer. Michael, the beloved son of Gerald M and Maire R (Brennan) Wilk, was born on March 13, 1962. He was married to his high school sweetheart, Randa P Murtaugh, and is also survived by his children, Ryan, Alexa, and Austin; his siblings, Maureen Zwaan (Dennis), Terrie Kidwell (Bruce), Stephen Wilk (Leslie), and Matthew Wilk (Tara), as well as his 19 cherished nieces and nephews.Michael was a graduate of Archbishop Carroll High School and Drexel University, with a Masters in Finance. He had a successful career in business and was currently positioned at CFO and SVP of Operations of Versify Solutions.Michael was very active in the regional soccer and sports community as a player, coach, administrator, and parent. As a soccer player, he was honored with numerous awards including recognition as member of the 1979 Southeastern PA and State soccer teams. In addition, he played on the 1981 and 1983 Drexel U East Coast Conference championship team.Michael loved all of his family and friends. He cherished his times in Ocean City NJ, Vermont, and at all of his kid's soccer endeavors. Family and friends are invited to Michael's Life Celebration Friday, from 6 to 8 P.M., at St. Patrick Church, 104 Channing Ave., Malvern PA, and on Saturday, from 10 to 11 A.M., followed by his Funeral Mass at 11 A.M. Interment will be at a future date.
