Mary Margaret Lind Mary Margaret (Frahm) Lind, of Milton, WA, died peacefully on January 31, 2017 after a short illness. Mary was born on September 7, 1924, and grew up and went to school in Sumner, WA. She met Harry Lind in 9th grade, beginning as friends and eventually leading to marriage in San Francisco on November 11, 1941. While Harry was in the Navy stationed in the South Pacific, Mary attended business college and worked at Nalley's until Harry's return. They built a home in Milton, where they lived together until Harry's death in 2000, and where Mary continued to live until her illness. Mary stayed home with her three children as they grew up, and was active in her community. Later she worked as a bookkeeper until her retirement. Recently she enjoyed playing cards and games, reading, and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of Mountain View Lutheran Church in Edgewood, WA. Mary is survived by her children David Lind, Janet Miller, and Karen Rugen (David), her daughter-in-law Christy Lind, three grandchildren, Alex, Lindsey, and Kate-Lynn, her special sisters-in-law Bernice Kade and Beverly Roberts, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by grandson Josh Miller. A memorial service will be held on March 4, 2017 at 1:00 at Mountain View Lutheran Church, 3505 122nd Ave. E, Edgewood, WA 98372. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made to Mountain View Lutheran Church - Former Things New Things Building Project.
