EDDER MARILYNN (ROLAND) Marilynn Edder, of Conway, 82, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer for eight years to be with her wonderful Lord and Savior, and her high school sweetheart and loving husband of 45 years, John H. (Jack) Edder. Jack passed away on September 14, 2000. Jack was the love of her life. Marilynn was born on October 27, 1934, in Saltsburg, PA, to the late Elmer and Helen Roland. Marilynn is also survived by her brother, Donald Roland, Saltsburg. Marilynn graduated from Saltsburg High School in 1952. She was an avid sports lover in high school where she played basketball, softball, and was a majorette all four years. She also loved shopping, gardening, and being outdoors. She loved to cook and bake for her family, which was the pride of her life. She was a faithful member of the CMA Church in Conway for many years. She is survived by three sons, Jerry and Susan Edder of Kissimmee, FL, Rich and Judy Edder of Conway, and Greg and Amy Edder of Conway and five wonderful grandchildren, who she adored, Christian and Maddie Edder of Conway, Ryan Edder of Conway, Jennifer (Edder) Lutz of Butler, and Mandi Edder of Kissimmee, FL. Marilynn would like to give a very special thanks to Dr. Thomas Krivak, Dr. Michael Sherry, Dr. James Meditch, Jr., and the loving staff at UPMC Cancer Center in Moon Township, PA, who cared for her the last few years. Also, Marilynn would like to thank the wonderful staff at Mother Teresa Hospice.
