Lucile Park Swenson beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, 55, passed into eternity on July 31, 2012 in Yuma, AZ. Lucile was born on April 15, 1957 in Mesa, AZ to James and Betty Park. She married Shirrell Eugene Swenson Jr for time and all eternity on September 9, 1977, their marriage was solemnized in the Mesa Arizona Temple.Lucile graduated from Yuma High School, class of 1975. Lucile spent her life in the service of others and countless people were blessed by her actions. She generously shared her time and talents in serving her family, friends, and community throughout her life. Lucile was a very skilled porcelain doll maker and enjoyed teaching others how to follow in her footsteps. She also had a great love for sewing and enjoyed making blankets for newborn babies. Lucile was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she enriched the lives of all who knew her. Lucile always had a smile and a kind word to anyone who met her. She was a compassionate friend and an amazing example of a Christlike life.Lucile is survived by her loving husband: Shirrell Eugene Swenson Jr; son and daughter-in-law Trevor & Hillary Swenson; son and daughter-in-law Blake & Brooke Swenson; son Justin Swenson; daughter and son-in-law Bethany & Patrick Gaytan; daughters Shelby and Mariah Swenson. Parents James & Betty Park; brother and sister-in-law Marion & Jennifer Park; brother and sister-in-law Phillip & Diane Park; sister and brother-in-law Tamera & Ralph Richardson; sister and brother-in-law Rebecca & Ben Smith; sister and brother-in-law Sally & Scott Cebulski as well as many nieces and nephews. Lucile dearly loved her 4 grandchildren; Hayden, Preston, Ruehl, and Taylor and anticipated meeting baby Lael on his way to this mortal life. She was preceded in death by her son Jaime with whom she has been reunited surrounded by the arms of a loving heavenly father. She will be greatly missed.A viewing and funeral services will be held Monday August 6, 2012 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints chapel at 4300 W. 16th Street in Yuma, AZ. The viewing will be held from 9:30am to 10:30am with funeral services following at 11am. Procession will then travel to Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
