MUNCIE- Loyde Ray Melton, 85, passed away November 7, 2017 at I.U. Ball Hall Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 20, 1932 the son of Anna Mae Melton (Blevin) and Cleo Jackson Melton.Loyde was a member of East 16th Street Church of God, former Vice President of Union Local 119.Loyde enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing golf.Left to mourn the loss of Loyde is his wife, Agnes Melton, sons, James (Deann) Melton, Randy (Debbie) Melton, daughter, Patricia (Ron) Butler, 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild.He was preceded in death by both of his parents, great grandchild, Landon, his brother, Wayne Melton, sister, Lillian Cook and sister in law, Bonnie Melton.Services will be held at Parson Mortuary at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 11, 2017.
