Long time Alaska resident Louise Helen Tall, 34 years old, died on Oct. 25, 2016. A service will be held at Legacy Funeral Home - Heritage Chapel, located at 440 East Klatt Road in Anchorage, Alaska, on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2016, at 3:30 p.m. A potluck will follow the service.Louise Helen Tall was born on Nov. 30, 1981. She was her mother's (Geraldine S. Tall) birthday present since Geraldine was born on Nov. 28, 1956. Louise got her GED and went to college at Soldotna College. She loved Alaska, and lived in Anchorage, Kenai and Soldotna. She enjoyed fishing with her children and their grandfather, Andrew J. Tall. She enjoyed being with her children dearly and loved watching them play at various parks in Anchorage. She was very protective of her children and would do anything in her power to keep them safe. She also liked to cross-stitch. Louise's love for her family, generosity, and kind heart were an inspiration to her loved ones. She lived with integrity and bravery.She is survived by her daughters, Melinda Sam and Geraldine S. Tall-Burgess; sons, Jason Burgess and Dwight Burgess; her parents, Andrew J. Tall and Geraldine S. Tall; sister, Bianca C. Tall; brothers, Vernon B. Tall and Timothy C. Tall; aunts, Stella Olson, Nastasia Ulroan and Donna Smith; along with numerous nieces, nephews and relatives from Hooper Bay and Chevak, Alaska.Louise was preceded in death by her sister, Denise P. Jones; her paternal grandparents, Carl and Louise Tall; and maternal grandfather, Timothy Smith.
