Louise loved each of her children and was heartbroken twice when Jennifer, six and then a year later Martin, ten, went to be with the Lod in childhood. Despite many trials of her life , Louise loved people and showed this through her sergeant's heart. She consistently gave of herself, time, funds and talents. During her time, she perfected the art of cooking, one gift that her whole family appreciates, before finally retiring, the churches still called upon her to assist with special events and celebrations. In addition to her love of cooking, one of her greatest enjoyments was found in her faith attending Bible Study Fellowship and deepening her personal relationship with Jesus Christ, something she found necessary through her study of the Bible. She realized that Jesus was the rock that sustained her through all the trials of her life. Her quiet time with God often included the hours spent in her garden, among the flowers and birds. Gardening gave her great joy and solace. She leaves behind to rejoice in her going home four children- Reginald, Renard,Alesia and Christopher eleven grandchildren - Jerald Calhoun, Jennifer Lopez, Haley Manning, Meah, Joshua, Gabrielle Ramaiah, Erin Coy, Olivia, Nina, Julian and Sofia seven great grandchildren Jerald Jr, Jerome, Cruz, Christian, Andre's, Isabella and Dominick.
