Louise Franklin, 82, of Chicago, Illinois, passed Sunday, March 18, 2018. Louise was born to Willis Rucker, and Jean Rucker, January 21, 1936, in Chicago, Illinois.

Louise graduated from New Tier High School in 1951. She married Robert Franklin in 1957, and they lived together in Chicago. Louise worked as a caregiver until she retired in 1996. She also volunteered at the Grace Chicago church for over 20 years and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

Louise is survived by 4 children: Shauna Burton (Michael Burton), Connie Franklin, Patrick Franklin (Doris Clay/Franklin), and Leon Franklin. She also is survived by 6 grandchildren, brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews.
