Rucks, LouisLouis E. Rucks, age 75, of Berlin, passed away suddenly and very unexpectedly at ThedaCare Berlin on February 21, 2017 surrounded with the love of his family.He was born on August 10, 1941, to Herbert and Evelyn (Moak) Rucks in Berlin and was a 1959 graduate of Berlin High School. Louis was united in marriage to Cecile Drover on October 5, 1963, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Berlin and shared many wonderful years together.He was employed as a Supervisor at Realist for 20 years and then at Oshkosh Corporation retiring after 25 years of dedicated service.Louis enjoyed playing softball in his earlier years, bowling, yardwork and cheering on the Packers and Brewers.He was a member of the Berlin Friends of the Park and All Saints Catholic Parish of Berlin.He is survived by his wife, Cecile; son, Randolph (Teresa) of Berlin; daughters, Rebecca (Todd) Voeltner of Berlin, Regina (Scott) Hoffmann of Marion; sister, Karen (Dave) Tetzke of Larson; grandchildren, Hannah Voeltner, Taylor Rucks, Emma Rucks, and Samuel Rucks.He was preceded in death by his parents.Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 25, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at All Saints Catholic Parish of Berlin with Father David Greenfield officiating. Burial will follow at a later date.Family and friends may visit with the family and pay their respects to Louis on Friday, February 24, 2017 at the Wiecki-Skipchak Funeral Home of Berlin, from 5-8:00 p.m. with a Parish Rosary at 7:45 p.m., and also on Saturday morning from 9:00 a.m. until we leave for church.A luncheon and a time for sharing will be held at the Berlin VFW immediately following the service.A memorial has been establishedFor more information and to view the tribute video, please go to: [email protected] Funeral Home116.
