Graff, LorraineLorraine Graff, age 95 of Kewaunee died on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Linden Manor in Kewaunee. She was born on July 22, 1921 in Rio Creek to the late Emil and Caroline (Meintz) Luedtke.She attended Rio Creek Grade School and graduated from Casco High School in 1939 and Milwaukee School of Beauty Culture in 1940. She was employed at Drills Beauty Salon in Manitowoc for several years and also at a salon in Las Vegas, NV where she styled several movie stars hair.Lorraine married George H. Graff on Easter Sunday, April 25, 1943 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Las Vegas where George was stationed with the U. S. Army Air Force. After his service, they moved back to Kewaunee on George's family farm. She also worked for Mae's Beauty Salon for several years. In later years she was employed part time at Ludlows Clothing Store in Kewaunee.Lorraine was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aid. She served as a 4-H leader, was a member of Kewaunee County Homemakers Club and Kool City Square Dance Club and also enjoyed bowling in several bowling leagues.Survivors include one daughter: Bonnie Wildgrube, Kewaunee; two sons and two daughters-in-law: Dean and Cindy Graff, DePere; Darryl and Monica Graff, Luxemburg; three grandsons: Chris (Rebecca) Wildgrube; Jesse (Crystal) Graff; Eric Graff and three great grandsons. She was preceded in death by an infant son: Joseph; two brothers: Roy (Marie) Luedtke; Orville (Reneta) Luedtke; two sisters: Ruphina (Everette) Aude; Hilda (Ben) Vandermause; one brother-in-law: Harvey Huck; five sisters-in-law: Alice (John) Lischka; Frances (Wilbert) Walter; Florence (Alden) Nimmer; Margaret (Ray) Haack; Gertrude (Louis) Folco; her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Henry and Hulda (Reinke) Graff.Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. Saturday January 7 at Buchanan Funeral Home, Kewaunee. A prayer service will be held 7:00 p.m. Visitation continues on Sunday after 12:00 Noon at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, 710 Dorell St. Kewaunee until the time of services. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Michael Sullivan officiating.
