Hanish, 92, passed away early on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at Golden Living Center in Mishawaka.Lorine was born on July 6, 1924, in Kansas City, MO, to Roy and Nettie (Albert) Presnell. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Lenora Clark and Lois Wilkins, and brothers, Roy, Henry, John, Francis and Bobbie Presnell.On August 27, 1949, as the former Lorine L Presnell, she married Eugene Hanish; he preceded her in death on October 20, 2001. Surviving are her daughter, Judy (Bob) Gibson of Granger; sons, Donald (Sandi) Hanish of Naples, FL, and Richard Hanish of Mishawaka; sister, Bettysue (Ron) Anderson of Terre Haute, IN; grandchildren, Jeffrey and Catherine Hanish, Michelle (Don) Rupprecht and Kimberly (Eric Lees) Gibson; and great-grandchildren, Alex and Megan Rupprecht, and Bode and Ozzie Lees.Lorine worked for Uniroyal for 32 years before she retired in 1986. She enjoyed playing cards at Battell Center in Mishawaka.Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 18, at 1:30 p.m., with visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
