Loretta Lynn PlattLoretta L. "Lynn" Platt, 47, of Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 11:15 a.m. at her home.  Lynn was born on July 4, 1970 in Lafayette to Frances j. (Hunter) Hoaks, and she survives.  Lynn graduated from Lafayette Jefferson.  She was a member of Calvary Church.  Lynn loved Kid Rock, spending time with her grandchildren, and her family.  She loved taking charge and planning. Surviving is her son, Zacery Wayne Platt (companion: Sydney Jo Shepard).  Also surviving are 4 siblings, Harley (Debra) Seabolt, Patricia (Mike) Hanthorn, Jana Kay (Bill) Trippett, and Jeffery Hoaks, all of Lafayette, the two loves of her life, Sophie Jo Platt, and Madison Lynn Platt, her grandchildren, and several special nieces and nephewsShe is preceded in death by her grandparents, Delta and Jessica Morris."I love you to the moon, to the stars, and to Pluto.
