Gruen, LoisLois L. Gruen, age 77, died peacefully on March 1, 2017 at St. Joseph's Hospital. A private service for immediate family will be held followed by visitation from 4-6pm on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Hansen-Schilling Funeral Home. Lois was born on January 6, 1940, in Chicago, IL to Vera (Garber) and John Nelson. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Gruen on June 14, 1958 in Tomah, WI. Lois was a unit clerk at Marshfield's St. Joseph's Hospital, ICU for over 25 years. Some of her favorite pastimes included enjoying a beautiful day at the cabin, watching sports, playing slots at the casino, babysitting all the family dogs, baking our favorite desserts and going on adventures with Philomena. Her greatest love was being around family and enjoying time with all the grandkids and great grandkids. She was always caring for and thinking of her family and will be deeply missed.Lois is survived by her husband Ken of 59 years, children Rhonda (Dale) Winistorfer, Craig (Heidi Kaunath Hare) Gruen, Mark (Catherine) Gruen, Barry (Laura) Gruen, Eric (Amy) Gruen, 13 grandchildren including Brian, Sara (Kraig Huebner), Adam, Jacob (Amy), Nick, Brianna (Donald Cook), Katelyn, Emily, Alison, Tyler, Ryan, Leah and Josh and 6 great grandchildren including Kaysen and Kennedy, Jordynn and Brandon and twins Christian and Jaxon.
