He married Delores Cloutier on November 27, 1948 in Ecorse, Michigan. Together they raised four children in Allen Park until moving to New Berlin, Wisconsin in 1966. Lloyd was a member of the Army stationed in the Aleutian Islands as a radio technician during WWll and will be remembered each 4th of July for his recollection of his time on Shemya Island. For most of Lloyd's adult life he was employed in the construction industry. Earlier in his career he was with the Louis Garavaglia Construction Company in Michigan for numerous years before relocating to Wisconsin to work for Mueller Pipeliners. He retired in 1983 from Mueller Pipeliners as a construction superintendent. Lloyd and Delores enjoyed traveling around the world and settled in Dunedin, Florida upon Lloyd's retirement. Lloyd was a member of Holy Apostles Church in New Berlin. Lloyd will be remembered for being a social butterfly, a gifted story-teller, a generous, kind, and devoted family man who loved to make others laugh, lend a helping hand, and spend time with his loved ones. He enjoyed cigars, campfires, financial investments, anything strawberry and stories/conversation over a Miller Lite (or two). He will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of his company and those who dearly loved him, and there were many. Gathering at HOLY APOSTLES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 16000 W.
