Linda Leeann Ross, a loving daughter, mother and friend, passed away at age 53 on February 24, 2016 from complications due to brain surgery. Linda was born October 8, 1962 to Doyle and Alma Swickard in San Francisco, California, and was raised and attended school in Marin County. She attended Terra Linda High School and College of Marin, Indian Valley Campus before she married her husband, Mark Ross.

Linda enjoyed walks in the park, dinner with her closest friends, and spending time with her family. Softball was one of Linda’s greatest passions, and she loved to attend every softball game her daughter played or coached in because it was something she treasured the most.

Linda was a loving, friendly and happy woman who made every person she met feel loved whether they were a stranger or life long friend. She was a selfless, devoted mother who dedicated most of her time to taking care of her family. Linda had a great smile that lit up the whole room and an infectious laugh that was uniquely hers, and she had an affectionate nature that made everyone feel comfortable around her.

Linda is predeceased by her husband, Mark Ross, and her mother Alma Swickard. She is survived by her father Doyle Swickard, her daughters Jennifer and Alyssa Ross, and her brother Richard Swickard.
