Ms. Linda Ree Jones was born October 19, 1953 in Pensacola, Flordia to Willie Virginia Dortch and Walter Jones. She received her education through the Detroit Public School System.

Linda was a respectful lady who was full of life and vigor. She also enjoyed her family and the simple pleasures in life. Linda loved eating her sweets, reading and watcing movies; that was all she needed.

Linda departed this life on Monday, July 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her mother, Willie V. Dortch; her father, Walter Jones; her stepfather, Sim Dortch Sr.; her two brothers, Sim Dortch Jr. and Jan Leray Dortch; neice, Jasmann Marie Dortch; two aunts, Bessie Jeminson-Coleman and Doll Shannon; two uncles, Ted Coleman and Fred Coleman.

She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Ricky Jones and Timothy Jones; daughter, Kimberly Jones, one sister, Joy Renay Dortch; three brothers: Timothy Dortch, Charles Dortch and Raynard Dortch; one brother-in-law, Tommy Askew, two sister-in-laws, Rebecca Dortch and Joyce Neal; two grandsons, Javon Jones and Lando Palmer; one granddaughter, Kapresha Jones; four nephews, Charles Neal, Sim Dortch II, Austin Dortch, Miles Dortch; two neices, Charlene Neal and Shamonda Neal along with a host great neices, great nephews and friends.
