Leroy Louis Hoerner, 69, of Rochester, passed away Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016, at his home.  Leroy was born on Aug. 25, 1947, in Rochester to Anthony and Stella (Gorblisch) Hoerner.  He married Dorothy (Block) and she preceded him in death. Leroy worked as a painter and was a member of the Local 681 union. He was also a member of the Stewartville Sportsman Club.  Leroy served in the Army during the Vietnam era, serving his time in Germany.  Leroy is survived by his two sons, Michael (Jenni) Hoerner and Eric (Shawna) Hoerne, both of Rochester; six grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and his brother, Kenneth (Diane) Hoerner. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, wife Dorothy, daughter Lori Hoerner and his brother Anthony Hoerner. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Rochester Cremation Services.  Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday and continue until the time of the funeral service. The Rev. David Mohler will officiate. A private burial will take place at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Recovery is Happening or Zumbro Community Church.
