SIDNEY — Leora G. Hickman, age 74, of Sidney, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, at her residence.

She was born on Feb. 6, 1942, in Valley Creek, Tennessee, to the late William and Lulu (Fultz) Jones. On Sept. 22, 1962, she married Marvin Hickman and he survives.

Leora is also survived by five children, William Anthony "Tony" Hickman, of Sidney, Kenneth Earl (Janet Losh) Hickman, of Jackson Center, Renee Lynn Ball, of Sidney, Timothy Wayne (Tina Paul) Hickman, of Engleside, Texas, and David Scott Hickman, of Sidney; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and siblings, Homer (Dorthy) Jones and Barbara Marlow, both of Sidney, and Wilma Dudley of Mt. Giliead.

In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Leora loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed following politics on Fox Network and CNN. Leora was a member of Sidney Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, Ohio, with Christopher Page officiating. Burial will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens in Sidney.
