Leon passed away on August 30th, 2020, After suffering a sudden stroke which put him in a coma for several weeks which he passed from.

Leon was born in North Vancouver, BC. He attended the University of British Columbia. He held a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.  

An enthusiastic traveler, He took a gap year after he graduated and backpacked through Western Europe. He picked up a few new languages and took hundreds of photographs. 

In 1968 Leon married Emily, his high school sweetheart. The following year they welcomed son and daugher Johnathan and Amanda. Leon was excited for Rosaline and John to join him and Emily for a lifetime of adventures. He never stopped planning the adventures they could all have together. He will be remembered as a loving father and husband that loved his family unconditionally. He will rest in pease knowing that he accomplished alot with his family and will rest in peace knowing that his children will carry on his loving and caring nature down the family tree.

Due to the covid-19 pandemic the funeral will be held for immediate family members only.
