Leon Hill Sr.Chesapeake - Give thanks in all circumstances, for this is Gods' will for you in Christ Jesus. On Wednesday, November 2,2016, the Lord peacefully called his servant, Leon Hill Sr., home to rest. Leon was born on July 1, 1950 in Greenville, Mississippi to Alma Flemming and L.C. Hill. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and true friend to many. A homegoing celebration will be on November 11, 2016 at 11am ,First Baptist Church South Hill, 3633 Gallberry Road, Chesapeake, VA 23323. Burial will be at Albert G. Horton Cemetery ,5310 Milners Road ,Suffolk, VA 23434. The remains will be at First Baptist Church South Hill 1 hour prior to the celebration. The receiving of family and friends will be held on Thursday ,November 10th, 2016 from 7pm to 8pm at Metropolitan Funeral Service, 120 W. Berkley Ave. ,Norfolk, VA 23523. To honor Leon for his faithful years of true community service and his commitment to giving back as a lifelong volunteer, we would like all donations to be made to and all flowers to be forwarded to Metropolitan Funeral Service Berkley in his name.
