Lena P. Lindsey, 74Daleville - Lena P. Lindsey, 74, of Daleville, passed away on  February 27, 2017 at her residence. She was born on June 5, 1942 in Crossville, Tennessee.She had worked as a maid at Motel 8  and was a homemaker. She loved crafts, painting and writing poems.Lena is survived by her loving spouse, Charles Lindsey; son, Thomas Leon (Lisa) Lindsey, step-children, Marsha K. (Tom) Bryan, Margaret Ann (Jeff) Lewis,  Martha Marie Myers, adopted daughter, Carolyn Prince; siblings, Golda Mae (Melvin) Thompson, Lonnie Leon (Barbara) Short,  Joyce Ann (Buddy) Patterson, James Robert (Ruby) Short, Glenda Fay (Jim) Gerard, Jack E. (Hazel) Tucker, 18 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her mother, Ila Mae (West) Tucker; father, George Haskell Short; siblings, Thomas Short, Brenda Kay Short.Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory,  Anderson, IN.Services will be Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor John Ray officiating.
