Abel Funeral Service: 1627 N. 51st Ave Phoenix, Az. Monday December 16th 2019 10am - 12pm
LeFon was born to late Arthur Peyton and late Thelma Jean Woods on August 24th 1965. He attended and graduated from 112th Street STEAM Academy, Edwin Markham Middle School and Alain LeRoy Locke College Prep. before he moved to Pheonix, Arizona and attended the Phoenix Job Corps Center. Soon after, he began his life as an accomplished adult. He was devoted and a loving partner and will forever be missed. He is survived by his sisters, Denise Woods and Marlene Haney and brother, Ronald Woods. And a host of neices, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and loving friends who will keep his memory alive. Let us not be sad and in despair, let us rejoyce and be glad he is no longer suffering in pain but is resting in eternal peace where we shall be reunited.
Because I have loved life, I shall have no sorrow to die.
I have sent up my gladness on wings, to be lost in the blue of the sky.
I have run and leaped with the rain, I have taken the wind to my breast
My cheek like a drowsy child to the face of the earth I have pressed.
Because I have loved life, I shall have no sorrow to die.
...Amelia Josephine Burr
