Lawrence E. "Larry" DevinoAge: 67 • BurlingtonLawrence E. Devino of Burlington, 67, passed away peacefully on April 6th at his home. Larry was born on January 31st, 1950 in Burlington, VT to Edward and Cora (Rabidoux) Devino. He graduated from Rice Memorial High School in 1968 and from Champlain College in 1970. He enjoyed working with his father in their family store, Devino's Market, which later led to his career as a meat cutter for over 30 years at Grand Union and later for Hannaford until his retirement. Family was most important to Larry, he loved getting together to play poker, watching his grandchildren in the pool, having barbeques, playing pranks and making people laugh, he was the eternal jokester. He enjoyed talking about his motorcycle adventures over the years. Larry is survived by his daughter Nicole and her two children, Tyler and Jocelyn, his daughter Jennifer and her husband Ryan, and their two children Emma and Nicholas, his sisters Lillian and Helen and many loving nieces and nephews.Waiting in heaven are his parents, sisters Jeanne and Connie, brother Donald, brother in law Clem and his beloved dog Gus. The family will hold a private service. Arrangements are under the care of LaVigne Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
