Lawrence Clemons was born in Chicago, Illinois to the Union or Roas Wright and Lawrence Clemons whom both preceded him in death. He accepted Christ at a early age and went on to marry Marietta Campbell. He lives to cherish in his memories his wife Maretha Clemons. His children, Lawrence Wright, Thomas Clemons, and two step-children Barbara Smith and Jermaine Campbell. His son Gerald Clemons preceded him in death.
