Lawrence B Bounds Jr. was born August 11, 1971 to Lawrence B Bounds Sr. and Mary Denise Jackson. His mother departed this earth ahead of him March of 2005.

Lawrence was lovingly known as “Luv” while growing up. It’s unclear who pinned this nickname for him but it stuck with him his entire life. Eventually, he would change his name to DJ Lorenzo to enhance his DJ career. Lawrence worked a series of different jobs until finally finding his calling as a professional DJ which he loved doing.

Not only did Lawrence create beautiful music but he also created beautiful children. He leaves to cherish his memories 6 beautiful daughters Kylah, Leticia, Emma, Lassikka, Serenity and Saisha and 1 handsome son, Angel, who also departed this earth ahead of him in 2011.

He was married to Boonie Sampson-Bounds. Luv was a traveler never staying in one place too long. He  was a father that loved his children and tried to show it in the only way he knew. We that loved him and grew up with him hold him dear in our hearts for him to be taken so soon and so suddenly is hard to swallow. Dwayne Bounds, Kenesha Jackson, Robert Johnson and Kimberly Bounds have lost a brother and gained an angel. His nephews Andrew, Edward and Brian. Nieces Amaia and Ahnyra. A host of Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Lawrence B Bounds you were so loved and will be forever missed.
