VanCaster, LaVerneLaVerne M. VanCaster, age 97, passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2017. She was born on July 30, 1919, in Champion, WI to the late Charles and Bessie (Bodart) Williams. LaVerne was united in marriage with Earl VanCaster. He preceded her in death on October 17, 1987. For many years, she was employed as a tailor for Zegers Clothiers. LaVerne is survived by her daughter, Carol (Greggory) Hodges; two grandchildren, Heather Hodges and Melanie Delmar Siltala; two great-granddaughters, Beth and Emily Siltala; and special niece and nephew, Mary Geiser and Paul Jonet.She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; her parents; her brothers, Ervin, Charles Jr., and Lloyd; and her sister, Blossom.Visitation will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1301 South Ridge Road, on Saturday, June 3, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
