Red worked for 25 years as a mailer at the Courier Journal until his retirement. He then worked for another 12 years at the News and Tribune as a circulation assistant. He loved country music and western movies, enjoyed collecting records and was a die-hard Chicago Cubs fan.He was born on October 25, 1939 to the late Albion O. & Mary E. (Hartman) Juday. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Donna Vollmer. Red is survived by his wife of 31 years, Diana (Switzer) Juday; children, Clint Juday (Kim), Doug Juday (Samantha), Greg Juday, Scott Juday, Amanda Juday, Amber Juday, Jami Fowler (Jason) and Kacye Juday; brother, Harold Juday (Mary Lou); 8 grandchildren; and his faithful canine companions, Lou and Hank. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany).
