LaVerne B. BaileyZANESVILLE: LaVerne B. Bailey, 99, of Zanesville, passed away at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Autumn Healthcare of Zanesville. She was born on May 5, 1914, in Shawnee, Ohio, a daughter of the late James E. and Lydia Lynn. She had worked for Buckeye Redemption Center and Hazel Atlas before becoming a homemaker. She was a member of the Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church and Order of the Eastern Star Muskingum Chapter #485. She and her husband Harold spent 21 winters in Auburndale, Florida and they enjoyed fishing in Canada. Surviving are a son, Robert H. Bailey of Zanesville; two grandchildren, Christina L. Bailey and Ryan R. (Katie) Bailey; six great-grandchildren, Andrew, Ashley, Tristin and his mother Jackie, Autumn and her mother Stacie, Michael, and Logan; a brother-in-law, Don (Lurma) Bailey; and her special furry companion, Dolly. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold A. Bailey, who passed away on September 20, 2000; and a grandson, David M. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Andrew Dennis and Pastor Jeff Howard officiating.
